General Hospital spoilers say that it looks like viewers have yet another branch on the General Hospital family tree to explore. That’s because there’s a lot of speculation about whether or not Cyrus and Austin may be related. In fact, some General Hospital fans out there think that they might actually be father and son while others think there might be an uncle and nephew connection. Either way, there’s no denying that these two men share some close blood and that it will only be a matter of time before it’s revealed. Here’s what you need to know.
It goes without saying that there has been a lot of speculation about the matter on social media. In fact, many General Hospital fans have shared comments such as, “Leaning towards father-son. Austin won’t be a Holt after all, but he’ll be related to Laura and Sonny’s enemy due to his relationship to Cyrus,” along with, “I say Uncle & Nephew. Isn’t Austin’s father Jimmy Lee Holt? Please help me out to get this straight about him. I know Jimmy Lee moved to Pawtucket to be with the woman he fell in love with named Charity, she already had a son when she met Jimmy Lee.”
Another critic wrote, “If they’re not father and son, they should be. I have no attachment to Jimmy Lee as his father since they’ve never played Austin as accepted as a Q, and we never saw them as a family. If Mom had an affair with Cyrus, so be it. Wouldn’t be a first for a soap.”
And then there was this interesting comment as well: “None of that would track with the past if Austin is supposed to be Jimmy Lee’s son and a Q. Laura was not related to Jimmy Lee. Unless the writers are just trashing the past year of stories and starting from scratch #GH which is possible since we have replacement writers.”
