The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, August 23: Nick Cautions Kyle, Sally’s Huge Decision, What’s Wrong With Aria?

The  Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 23, tease that separated Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) sees Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at the athletic club, and she has a suggestion for him. Summer figures that they may as well divorce, sooner rather than later.

But Summer’s dad Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) plays cupid and tries to hook Kyle on a “Skyle” reunion. He talks up Skyle and their long-lasting love, as well as destiny. They have known each other since childhood and doesn’t his marriage deserve another chance?

Nick gets real and cautions Kyle about all that he will be giving up. For his part Kyle seems to be turning the idea over in his mind. Later when he sees the love between Summer and his son Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) Kyle will be even more confused.

This leads Kyle to visit Summer in her suite so they can talk about the future.

Meanwhile, as Summer and Kyle discuss the future, Nick and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are in a similar situation. Nick offered her the chance to move in with him, but she needed time to think about this big commitment.

Elsewhere Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are enjoying time with their daughter Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) in the park. Out of nowhere a loud thunderstorm cracks and cackles while Aria sleeps soundly.

Tessa and Mariah get worried about her hearing seeing as how the loud noises didn’t wake her.
Mariah and Tessa share their fears with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and she tries to calm them down. According to her some babies sleep so deeply that loud noises don’t penetrate their dreams.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Is Aria Ok?

Tessa and Mariah are still worried since baby Aria doesn’t respond to her name, which is odd given her age. Sharon comes up with an idea, why don’t they get Aria’s hearing tested? The moms agree to do so and make an appointment but spoilers reveal that what they find out from the results is not what they wanted to hear.
