The Young and the Restless spoilers say that some things just never change, but that’s not such a bad thing. It seems like Heather might still be into Daniel. Well, at least that’s what her actions are saying even though her words are telling a different story. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Daniel and Lily are getting quite up close and personal at the GCAC just when Heather shows up. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith shared, “The reality of seeing Daniel and Lily together as a couple is really uncomfortable for Heather. She knows that her relationship with Daniel will never compare to his and Lily’s history together.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that after Lily exists, Heather approaches Daniel, who asks why she’s been ignoring his phone calls this entire time. The answer that he gets is one that he didn’t expect to hear. He knows that something is up but Heather is just not telling him the entire truth, or at least what he thinks the truth is.
Griffith says, “Daniel gets the sense that Heather is not being up front about her reasons for not contacting him. When he presses, Daniel has even more reason to believe that Heather is keeping something from him.”
Soon after Daniel asks if Heather’s concerned that he will turn back to the same person that he was when he broke her heart so many years ago. Griffith previews, “Heather assures Daniel that she’s confident he’s left his dark side in the past. However, Heather may not be ready to move on from the Daniel she originally fell in love with.”
