Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Lisa LocCicero, who plays Olivia on the hit ABC soap, says that when Olivia sees her husband performing his song, she knows that something is wrong. She also believes that ‘Eddie’ is deeply confused by his current circumstances right now. And it seems like this is not going to change for a very long time, either. 

Lisa puts it this way, “She sees that he is reaching out to her and longing to come out of his confusion and out of the dark place where part of him is right now. She doesn’t know quite how to help him, but she opens her heart to him because she sees his struggle a little more clearly and she is able to have compassion for his situation.”

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Olivia And This New Version Of Her Husband?

General Hospital spoilers say that while Olivia remains unsure of who he is and still has a lot of confusion, “when she hears this song, she makes sort of an ineffable connection with him. It gives her hope. She sees a real person in there, not just some head trauma victim. She’s starting to see a soul in this other person, a soul trying to understand himself, as opposed to a caricature walking around. And she’s finding that she enjoys his company, too.”
