The Bold and the Beautiful star Thorsten Kaye, who is best known for his role as Ridge Forrester on the hit CBS soap, says that he has no idea what ‘sexy’ means. We can only wonder what Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) would have to say about that, right? Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, the handsome actor said that he certainly doesn’t feel very comfortable with being considered a sex symbol. This must be the first time that anyone has even brought it up to him. He said rather bluntly, “I don’t even know what that means.”
But asked what his teenage self would think of such an accolade and title he said, “Oh, my teenage self would run out and buy every magazine that had an article on it because my teenage self was a complete moron.”
When asked what his favorite romantic movie was, Thorsten also had a very interesting answer. He said, “One of my favorite movies has always been Chariots of Fire. And romance doesn’t always have to be women and men; romance to me is having a dilemma and trying to find your way through it without hurting people.”
Now, as far as what gets the actor in the mood, he admitted, “Have you met me? I’m always in the mood and what you want is to find music that takes me out of the mood just to get a break.”
He also said he doesn’t have an answer to what fans might find sexy about his character, Ridge. He said, “I have no idea. They must have really small television sets.”
Gotta love Thorsten for being so honest, if not also so blunt about his answers, right? But then again, his humor is what makes him of so sexy as well.
