It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have noticed that something just seems to be off between Adam and Courtney and it might have had something to do with Mark Grossman and Courtney Hope’s real life romance. Some comments on Twitter have included, “Mark Grossman and Courtney Hope just don’t have chemistry anymore. It is awkward to say this considering they were a couple and now aren’t, but this has happened before with people who dated IRL. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev’s chem went bye bye after they broke up,” along with, “The chemistry evaporating is one of the big reasons why fans should absolutely not want actors in a ship to start getting together IRL. Most of them do breakup.”
There was this comment as well: “I never liked them as a couple. Didn’t know they split in real life. Simply put I don’t care for her from the day she started. Audra is working her way through all the men in GC. That’s getting old. I desperately want Adam to be treated good. His father screws him every time.”
