It seems like no matter what Victoria Newman says or does, her father Victor Newman will always find a reason to forgive her. Some people have even noticed that Victor seems to treat his daughter in a higher regard than his own wife, Nikki Newman. What is going on here? Keep reading below.

Victoria Newman is no angel. She’s someone who has made plenty of awful mistakes in the past, just like her two brothers Adam and Nick Newman. But for some reason or another, Victor doesn’t punish her as badly as he punishes the boys. She is putting the family’s business and legacy in jeopardy with her Nate Hastings romance, yet Victor seems to be giving her a free pass. Anyone else in Victoria’s position would have been long gone already. What gives?

Needless to say, many Y&R fans have noticed that Victor certainly does treat his daughter Victoria Newman differently compared to other people in the family. That might or might not be a good thing, depending on how you look at it. Some have even commented with, “Wonderous how Victor never turns on Victoria when she has made so many mistakes. Amazing how he lets Victoria hold a higher position than his wife.  Nikki should hold the same position as Victor,” along with, “My thoughts exactly he’s always letting Victoria have her way, but is always trying to control Adam & make him do exactly what he says do, Adam just needs to do his own thing with out the Newman’s just cut ties PERIOD!”

Another fan wrote, “She’s his first born and most loyal child. But Victoria has always been driven by her sexual hormones. That has caused her to make one dangerous mistake after the other. He should have placed Adam in the top position years ago. Then he could help Adam, and watch to see what type of decision he would make.”
