EJ had told Chad that he needed to tell Alex to stay away from Stephanie. Chad told Alex that he wanted him to keep his distance from Stephanie.

Chad had been relieved that Alex had decided to honor his wishes. Chad did not anticipate that Alex would need to work with Stephanie.

Alex tried to keep his word to Chad to stay away from Stephanie but Stephanie got him to admit the truth. Alex told his father Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) that he did not want to tell Stephanie that Chad had wanted him to keep his distance from her.

Alex is going to find out that Stephanie confronted Chad about his attempts to keep her away from him. Chad will tell Alex that Stephanie was upset that he would try to keep her from interacting with him.

Chad was able to get Stephanie to forgive him. Chad will need to get Alex to find a way to forgive him from trying to keep him and Stephanie apart.

Chad is going to find out that Alex is facing a family tragedy. Alex has found out that his uncle Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) has been killed in a plane crash.

Alex has been stunned and heartbroken that he has lost Victor. Alex may find that Chad will understand the pain that he is in. Chad has experienced a devastating loss.

Chad had to find a way to overcome the shocking death of his wife Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Chad may be able to help Alex to find a way to deal with the Victor’s unexpected death.

Alex may find that he will get the support that he needs to get past his grief from losing Victor from Chad.
