Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Abe Is Demanding His Job Back

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, things are going to go down. Despite the fact that Kayla, Marlena and Steve are all concerned that this will put too much pressure on him, Abe is determined to get his job back as the mayor of Salem. That’s because he wants to get Chanel’s bakery reopened. 

James Reynolds, who plays Abe on the hit Peacock soap, tells the publication in a new interview, that even though his intentions are good, he might not be prepared for what’s ahead. He said, “There’s just too much information missing. I mean, he can’t tell you who his aides are. He’s still kind of easily confused, as you would be, I imagine, if you had amnesia. So, he absolutely is not ready for the intensity of a job like being mayor.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say with that said, along with Paulina’s support, Abe crashes Clint’s press conference and announces that he’s back – whether the people like it or not. James explains that for his character, he simply wants his life to go back to how things were before. Abe says, “He wants to get back to what was normal for him, and he wants to embrace what he had. And there’s a little bit of desperation there,” but also added that “the deputy major is not a terrific guy. So you can get your dander up pretty easily when your opponent is a jerk.”
