The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Tuesday, August 8: Abby’s Plea, Audra Begs Nate, Diane’s Suspicion

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 8, tease that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) wants a one-on-one with her boss Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She spills to him that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is blackmailing her over a past business scandal that she helped Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) hide.

Adam is demanding that Audra delivers Newman Media for his merger or else he’ll snitch. Sneaky Audra wants Nate to keep this between them and leave Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) out of it, so Nate is conflicted. It gets stickier when Audra needs Victoria as part of her plan.

Audra wants Nate to convince Victoria to go along with Adam’s Newman Media goal, and eventually persuade Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Nate is back in a situation where his loyalty and ego is tested, and it will be fascinating to see what the serial traitor decides to do.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Abby Agrees to Help

Meanwhile, spoilers tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) asked her daughter Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) to help restore order and peace within their fractious family. Abby is a good girl so of course she says yes, but she has no idea the background treachery her mom has participated in.

Ashley and her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are at war over their SO’s and what’s going on at the family company, Jabot.

It’s gotten to the point that Jack and Ashley have secret background vendettas going on and the two couples are trying to live under the same roof no less.

On Tuesday fans will see the Naked Heiress make a bold move when she approachs her mom’s enemy and sister in law Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters). Uh, sounds like a catfight on the horizon!

Y&R spoilers: Ashley and Diane Tango

Not so fast! Diane is in the middle of the family feud so Abby decides to talk to her about her part in the internal war. Abby knows that Diane has Jack’s ear and it’s not impossible that she can get through to her by appealing to her love for Jack.

It could be that Abby tries to form an alliance with Diane with the goal of making Jack believe that Ashley wants to wave the white flag.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Is Abby Offering a Ruse?

Diane has been around the block more times than Abby so she suspects Ashley is using her daughter to gain what she wants. Diane is not wrong, Ashley and Tucker have a grand plan to take over Jabot and get rid of Diane once and for all.

Ashley also hoped to get her brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to side with her, but Jack and Diane beat her to it. But how long will Billy stay trustworthy? He already seems to be on the fence about his loyalty—that didn’t take long!
