It seems like no matter what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do these days, they just can’t catch a break with their critics. This time around the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting a lot of heat for a new project they’ve taken on that hits just a little too close to home. According to the latest reports, Harry and Meghan are looking to adapt a novel into a film which they will produce for Netflix. It centers on a parent who died in a car crash. And of course, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if this was Harry’s idea, or if it were Meghan’s, seeing how Prince Harry had lost his own mother when Princess Diana died in a car crash back in 1997.
Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on various social media channels. Some have even commented with, “Meghan has been cosplaying Princess Diana for years, it’s how she manipulated Harry in the first place. Poor Diana can’t get any peace from this mercenary pair,” along with, “It’s at this stage I beg the question, why aren’t Diana’s siblings intervening? Her brother had a lot to say at her funeral so you would have thought he’d want to be active in looking after Harry & protecting Diana’s Legacy. Not just the RF who have distanced themselves.”
Another critic wrote, “Guaranteed I won’t watch. How awful that Harry would even consider profiting off his mother’s death. And yes, this is based on her death!”
So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about their supposedly new project, but if this does get the greenlight, there’s no doubt that Prince William is going to have something to say about it. After all, Prince Harry is not the only person who has been grieving the loss of his mother. With that said, we have a feeling that the royal drama between the two brothers is not going to end anytime soon.
