Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Take A Look At Your Brand New Eric Brady

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that there’s a new Eric Brady in town, but don’t worry, because it looks like he’s just as handsome as the one that we already know and love. As many DOOL fans probably know by now, actor Greg Vaughan has been temporarily replaced by incoming actor Jason Gerhardt for just a few weeks. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

While it might look like Greg Vaughan is currently taking a break from the canvas, don’t worry Days of Our Lives fans, he will be back sooner than you think. The actor was unavailable to shoot a handful of episodes back during the holiday season of 2022. And because Days of Our Lives films at least six months in advance, those episodes are now airing on the Peacock network. Greg was replaced by Jason Gerhardt, who will serve as the new Eric Brady, but just for a short time. Days of Our Lives released a promo still of Jason as the new Eric and let’s just say that he looks very much like the character! The staffing department definitely deserves a gold star for this great casting.

If Jason looks familiar to soap fans, it’s because he was once est known for his role as Cooper Barrett on General Hospital, which is a role that he had back in 2007 and 2008. He told Soaps.com that year that being on the show was definitely a great experience for him. Jason said, “Everybody that is a part of the show has made me feel welcome and I’m not just saying that. I really enjoy working there AND actually look forward to going to work.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Jason Gerhardt?

He continued, “As far as who I enjoy working with the most? I can honestly say that I’ve liked working with everyone so far. Kirsten has been great to work with. She is a terrific actress. I loved doing the few Maurice and I had together and I hope they’ll be more. Bradford, playing Spinelli, is always good for big laughs. Dirk, Laura, …wow, I could go on and on.”

Here’s hoping we get to see Jason more on the soap canvas! With that said, Days of Our Lives fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
