The Young and the Restless spoilers say that life just won’t be the same for Phyllis Summers anymore. She and her attorney Heather meet with Christine to discuss a possible plea bargain. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith says that while Phyllis is making the ultimate sacrifice in exchange for a plea deal for her children, Christine won’t pursue charges on her daughter and her son. Later on, Phyllis, Heather and Christine all meet with a judge in her chambers. That’s where Phyllis recalls being attacked by Jeremy Stark and how she feared for her life.
However, Griffith says that Christine “shares a checkered history with both Phyllis and Heather, so she’s having a difficult time keeping her personal feelings for them out of the proceedings.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis implores the judge not to lock her up so she can instead do community service and repair some of the damage that she’s done with her closest family and friends. The judge adjourns the meeting but Phyllis doesn’t have to wait very long as Heather tells her that she got a phone call that a verdict has been reached.
Griffith previews, “Phyllis braces herself as she realizes that her life as she knows it will change forever, and Genoa City will be rocked by the judge’s decision.”
In other words, it sounds as though things aren’t looking very positive for Phyllis. She might end up spending the rest of her life in jail or she might end up spending the rest of her life knowing that everyone in Genoa City absolutely hates her. But she’s already used to that, right?
