The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s one person who can stop Audra Charles in her tracks, you better believe that it’s going to be Adam Newman. In fact, Adam is about to take matters into his own hands as he blackmails Audra. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Audra tells Nate that she has a serious problem involving Adam and that she doesn’t want him telling Victoria about it. However, Nate doesn’t seem to be on board with her plans here.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “Although Audra has done her fair share of secret keeping from Nate, he’s reticent to return the favor as it may jeopardize both his personal and professional relationship with Victoria. However, Nate sees that the normally cool Audra is really nervous that Adam has clearly backed her into a corner.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when Audra confesses that she worked for Tucker, he gives her a task to cover up the evidence. Unfortunately, Audra overlooked one email that Adam had found.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Audra?

Griffith adds, “Adam has serious leverage over Tucker and Audra now that he has possession of the email. Audra is smart enough to know that Adam exploding this cover up would be very damaging for both Tucker and Audra’s careers and reputations.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers further say that Audra explains that in order to keep Adam silent, he needs Victor to agree to a merger of McCall and Newman Media. To that end, Audra asks Nate to get Victoria to persuade her father that the merger would make sense. Griffith says, “Nate will learn some hard lessons as he attempts to balance the relationships in his life and further his own agenda.”

With that said, we have a feeling that Adam has something up his sleeve. If there’s anything that we’ve learned about him over the years, it’s that he doesn’t mess around at all. Audra would do herself a huge favor if she started running now. And by that, we mean run away from Genoa City as fast as possible!
