Has the chemistry between them fizzled out that quick already? That’s what it looks like as many The Young and the Restless fans have noticed that things are looking quite different between Sally and Adam on the canvas lately. And that’s not just because they are still grieving the loss of their baby, but also because they look quite disconnected from one another, too. Here’s what you need to know.
The good news is that Sally doesn’t seem to be blaming Adam for the loss of their baby anymore. For the longest time she was upset at him for choosing to let the baby die instead of her. And while Adam has been having a hard time grieving on his end, he has also managed to keep himself busy by agreeing to help Sharon and her new business. At the same time though, both Sally and Adam have somewhat drifted apart. They definitely aren’t the same couple that they used to be and it shows.
It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have weighed in on this storyline on social media. Some have even commented with, “Adam wouldn’t even ask about Nick! At all, let alone over and over again. A lie. They literally said these same things at the coffee shop. Him hyping her and her looking annoyed. Why can’t they just keep them out of each other’s faces?” along with, “I cannot even stand seeing her frowny face anymore. This needs to end. This is what happens when you play the long game with a couple and don’t have the story material to maintain it.”
Another Y&R fan wrote, “I’m afraid your right, they were hot & heavy when they first meet from 2021 to mid 2022. Loss of Chem could also come from irl situations or maybe them not being into the current storyline.”
