Just because she’s out of jail, that doesn’t mean she’s reformed in any way or has become a different person. Because she spent time behind bars, Sheila might actually be more bitter and vindictive than ever before. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

For Finn, it seems like he would rather have his mother in his life than his partner – and the woman who gave birth to his child. Clearly, that doesn’t make any sense which is why Steffy is leaving all of this drama behind, and rightly so.
