Days of Our Lives spoilers say that it looks like the cast is taking matters into their own hands. There’s a new report that says a petition is making the rounds behind the scenes at the hit Peacock soap as over 25 cast members have now signed it in the hopes that they can push for a new Co-Executive producer to replace Albert Alarr. As many fans know by now, there’s an investigation going on over Albert’s sexual misconduct allegations and the toxic work environment that he’s supposedly created. In the petition, the actors refer to the “traumatic and disheartening” recent developments that have forced the cast and crew to pause production until the investigation has been completed.

“As a result of said actions of the current [co-] executive producer Albert Alarr, mentioned in the report, many of us feel — and will continue to feel — very uncomfortable and distraught should he stay involved with the show,” the petition reads, per Deadline. “Many of us have either been physically or verbally violated by him, including witnessing those objectionable and offensive actions.”

The petition also said, “We all want to make the most of this significant moment, not just for us in entertainment, but for our loyal viewers and the culture as a whole.”

What’s Next For Days of Our Lives?

Back on July 25, when discussing Albert Alarr, one source close to the situation said, “He became much more tyrannical, I think he became much more aware of his unilateral power, and that Ken wasn’t going to be involved in decision-making. And I think [Alarr] took the ball and ran with it, and I think it’s ruined the show.”

The tipster added, “Albert has a habit of belittling people, especially people he wants to put down. It’s kind of a running joke that everything that comes out of Albert’s mouth is inappropriate.”
