Is Prince Harry traveling alone to Germany for the Invictus Games this year? That’s what a lot of royal fans can’t help but wonder as it seems like both Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been spending more time apart than they have together these last several months. Some people think that it’s part of their new PR strategy, while others can’t help but wonder if it might have something to do with the state of their marriage. Either way, it’s given many people a reason to be concerned. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal expert Angela Levin, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, pointed out that there’s a strong chance that Prince Harry might be going to Germany alone for the Invictus Games this year. She took to her Twitter account to write, “Anyone else think that as the Invictus Games is really  Harry’s he could be allowed to go on his own to Germany in September.   Meghan has many new options and she could let him get all the attention.  But she’s going to ‘moderate’  and give Harry the final speech.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for many royal fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter. Some of them wrote comments such as, “Harry should absolutely go alone. It was his original project before her and her interference. He used to do this engagement with joy and respect for these veterans. Now when he goes he’s sullen and withdrawn with her at his side. She makes everything about herself, not for the sake of exactly what the event/engagement is really about.”

Another critic wrote, “The Games & competitors will be overshadowed like last time by the circus that follows the Harkles. A smaller circus without M but still a circus + I sense that H’s standing amongst the veterans has significantly diminished since his novela Spare.”
