There are many royal fans and critics alike who believe that Meghan doesn’t just want to become a royal, but she wants to become political royalty, too. But for Prince Harry, that would pose a significant problem. That’s because members of the royal family are expected to be neutral when it comes to the world of politics. And that certainly won’t happen if Meghan ends up becoming a politician. But then again, this is the same man that supposedly once said that whatever Meghan wants, Meghan gets. So if Meghan wants a position in power, it will be very hard for her husband to say no to her, right?

Royal critic Emily Carver, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, suggests that Prince Harry might be completely against his wife’s plans to run for office, whether it be now or in the future.

She put it this way, “It’s a little bit tricky. They have very different ambitions. Meghan Markle wants everything. She would be head of the universe if she could be. Harry is stuck in the past with all of his court cases going on, it’s all a little bit strange.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Meghan Markle?

She continued, “Meghan Markle in the White House, now that would be something.”

And if it turns out that Meghan does run for office and does become President of the United States one day (take that as you will), then Prince Harry will end up having a very special title.

Emily added, “He would be First Gentleman, I believe. It’s extraordinary. American politics is so unpredictable, so who knows what they would do about it.”
