General Hospital spoilers say that when it comes to Alexis Davis, she certainly has a lot of things in common with her on-screen portrayer, Nancy Lee Grahn. Because both the actress and the character are not afraid to speak their minds. And that’s exactly what Alexis did in the latest episode of the hit ABC soap when she told Molly what she probably didn’t want to hear about having Kristina be her surrogate. Here’s what you need to know.
As many General Hospital fans know by now, Molly and TJ are having a very difficult time conceiving their own baby. That’s why they have been looking at alternatives to see if they can become parents, even if they have to choose a more untraditional route. But would choosing someone like Kristina to carry their baby be a good idea? That’s what Alexis can’t help but wonder as she told Molly that there are just as many cons as there are pros with a decision like this.
Of course, many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about this storyline on Twitter. Some of them commented on the matter with, “Good talk Alexis. She spoke the hard truths to Molly about Kristina possibly being her surrogate. I appreciated @NancyLeeGrahn & Alexis’ legal advice regarding surrogacy. It’s a complex issue, especially if a relative is an egg donor,” along with, “I don’t always agree with everything that Alexis says or does but she’s spot on here. And I love that she’s not afraid to speak the hard truth, no matter how difficult it may be.”
Another critic said, “Molly needs to think about this for a little bit longer before she gives Kristina this kind of responsibility. It can go absolutely well or horribly wrong and it’s a decision everyone is going to have to live with for a very long time.”
