Not only that, but he’s also the Executive Producer on the show, too. He clearly has a lot of hats that he’s wearing these days, but wouldn’t it be a better idea to hire a full-time writing team for the soap again? That’s what many Y&R fans want to know. If you’re not feeling any of the latest storylines on The Young and the Restless, then there’s only one person to blame, and that would be Josh Grittifh himself. Ever since he let go of his writing team, he’s been taking care of all the script writing on his own. That sure is a lot to take on for one person, seeing how script writing for daytime television shows is such an intricate process. After all, there are so many different plots and characters that it would be hard to keep track of it all without a team of writers behind you, right?
Well, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “Is it humanly possible for one person to write a soap?” along with, “He can’t be the only writer. There’s gotta be more people behind him. Maybe they are just not being credited, which would be wrong, too.”
Another fan wrote, “Let’s follow this over the next few days. I imagine since Amanda’s also producer that she’s still writing? She’s not supposed to be. But who knows?”
