The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 31 tease that early in the week it’s time for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to pitch a business idea to her daughter, and new mom, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Sharon wants Mariah to leave Jabot and help her, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on a new and exciting business venture.
Sharon inherited her tormentor Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) Kirsten Incorporated company and has merged it with Adam’s company Adustus International. It’s just the latest in a string of shakeups on the Genoa City, Wisconsin business front and Mariah will have something tantalizing to think about next week.
We can also tell you that on Monday, July 31 Nick Newman has to put his brother Adam Newman in his place. And Sharon thought it would be a good idea for the siblings to work together, why?
Nick may ask him to play nice to placate their father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) but Adam always has a side hustle ….
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Adam’s Side Hustle
It’s likely that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) accepts his offer to run the IT department but at the same time he calls her out on a possible side hustle of her own. Phyllis admits that she wants to gain dirt on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) in order to bring him down.
This means that both Phyllis and Adam have something in common, so an alliance between them could be a no-brainer. But will Nick and Sharon be on board with bringing this renegade into the fold?
Elsewhere, sneaky chemist Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has a proposition for her brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). It’s a lowbrow move, since it involves having him usurp their brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Jabot.
Billy will once again be on the horns of a dilemma since he has already agreed with Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) that he will align with them to thwart Ashley at Jabot. Oy vey. When will this family stop the haterade and just get along? Poor John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) is spinning in his grave right now.
