The Young and the Restless spoilers say that either he is having a hard time moving on, or moving on just seems a bit too hard for him. Actor Doug Davidson, who is best known for his role as Paul Williams on the soap, couldn’t help but take one last swipe at the place that he called home for the last four decades in his latest tweet. Even though it’s been some time since Paul Williams was last seen on the canvas, Doug finally had an opportunity to clean out his dressing room this past weekend. Needless to say, he felt very sentimental about it all.
Doug took to his Twitter account to write, “Well, I cleaned out my dressing room a week ago Saturday. Yes it was sad for several reasons. 1. It was my home for over 40 years and it was like a ghost town. Price has left, and the new owner of TV City isn’t really keeping it up. The sets were all small and a bit tired.”
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans responded to Doug’s tweet with a lot to say. Some comments included, “Sorry to hear that. Their loss as far as I am concerned. Are you speaking of Studio City or where ever YR filmed/taped so many years? Hate to hear you’re officially gone from YR,” along with, “This makes my heart hurt for you & the cast. You deserved better than this. And there are still some great folks both in front of & behind the scenes at #YR but it will NEVER be the same without you Doug.”
And then there was this comment: “Move forward Doug. You’re an Emmy winner, good looking, great actor, and a lovely guy. Good things will happen to you because you’re a good man. Very best wishes to you.”
