The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor Newman approaches Sally Spectra about a job offer. But just like any job offer that comes from Victor Newman, it comes with a few requests. Keep reading below for all of the latest spoilers that you need to know.
During their meeting and once they are seated, Victor offers his condolences for the loss of Sally’s baby. He also says that his previous request that she allow him to raise her baby was just a test. Now, whether or not Sally really wants to believe that is anyone’s guess. Actress Courtney Hope, who plays Sally Spectra on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “I think Sally still has a little hope that Victor has changed his mind about her because he’s seen the faith and confidence that she has about her talent and what she’s capable of in business.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor then offers Sally a big opportunity. Since she doesn’t have an exclusive clause in her contract with Chancellor-Winters, Victor wants Sally and Chloe to run Newman’s new design division. But, he wants them to be exclusive to Newman only. Sally certainly wasn’t expecting this, but at the same time she knows that working for Newman will help bring her career forward and where she wants it to be.
All of this certainly gives Sally some food for thought. Courtney adds, ”She’s driven by her career and this is something that she and Victor have in common, and he seems to trust that she knows what she’s doing. But when he says their offices will be in Newman Tower, Sally knows this is so he can keep a close eye on her and that may be something that she can’t live with.”
