General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, July 24 tease big news, confrontations, and grisly discoveries. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has big news, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) confronts Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will make a grisly discovery.

General Hospital Spoilers: Big News

At Kelly’s, Carly is excited as she has big news for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy); she tells her she’s been entrusted with a family institution. Grandma Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) has owned Kelly’s for years, and it’s where her Aunt Ruby Anderson (Norma Connolly) worked. Carly tells Josslyn about Bobbie selling her Kelly’s for a dollar and once it’s as successful as The Metro Court she’ll pay her market value.

It’s a solution to Carly having nothing to live on if she spends her savings to pay that hefty SEC fine. Plus, it gives Carly a new start to give new life into a family business like she did the Metro Court.

GH Spoilers: Confrontations

Drew confronts Cyrus in the common room at Pentonville, after hearing from Carly about the shooting at the Metro Court. Not only was his buddy Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seriously injured, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could have been targets as well. Cyrus could have wanted Curtis taken out and possibly Sonny too, even though Sonny seemed to have been working with him. Drew gets in Cyrus’ face with accusations that he’d love nothing more than to take him out.

General Hospital Spoilers: Terrible News

Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has gone to the Quartermaine gatehouse to deliver the terrible news about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Michael and Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) look shocked and concerned as Nina tells them Sasha is far from okay. Not only was she arrested at the Metro Court Pool for stabbing Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) now she’s in Ferncliff.

Little do any of them know that Sasha was being drugged by her psychiatrist, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) in cahoots with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is fighting to get Sasha out of Ferncliff and somewhere better, and Sonny’s onto Gladys.

GH Spoilers: Playing Along

Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is on the phone to someone, oblivious to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) who’s been tasked to follow him by Sonny. He tells someone to just play along and everything will be okay. He could be talking to the new nanny handpicked by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) to care for Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Or, he could be talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West) who’s talking to her at Wyndemere. But Austin doesn’t know that Sonny overheard the argument between himself and Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall) where he was accused of working with Mason.

General Hospital Spoilers: Interview In Progress

In the meantime, an interview is in progress at Wyndemere as Ava tells Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) Sonny could be fooled by her. But Ava won’t be fooled for long when Betty starts making threats against her mother, Delia Ryan (Ilene Kristen). How can Ava trust a woman with Avery if she’s making threats against her grandmother?

Ava will end up making a distress call to Sonny. He’ll know what to do!

GH Spoilers: Grisly Discoveries

Elsewhere, Sonny’s talking to Dex on the phone and telling him to stay with him-meaning Austin, who he’s tasked him with following-and see what he can find out. Dex will make a grisly discovery and who knows what he might find – perhaps a body of a failed drug mule? For that matter, maybe they’ll find a certain someone who was on life support after being moved from a certain tack closet on Spoon Island. If Austin and Mason really are working together, maybe Austin’s the one who set up Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) on life support!
