General Hospital Spoilers: Olivia Didn’t Appeal to Neddie, But Leo Might

General Hospital spoilers reveal Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) hasn’t exactly pulled out all the stops, but it’s clear that Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) has no interest in even trying to remember his life with her as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). But what never dawned on Eddie was that he might share a connection with his son, Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda).

Stopping by the Q mansion the other day served as testimony to that. While Eddie didn’t show anything but patience and compassion toward Leo, some fans suspect there was underlying emotion for Eddie that he kept to himself. Is this Ned trying to come through and remind Eddie that he has a family who is relying on him?

General Hospital Spoilers — Neddie is Comfortable Where He Is

Eddie wasn’t kidding when he turned Olivia down and told her he was happy at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place. He saw no need to change things up and thought it would only give Olivia hope that he doesn’t share — hope that he might suddenly turn back into Ned, a man he doesn’t know. And that was true at the time, but the more he deliberates over how his visit to the Q grounds made him feel, the more he’s going to wonder if there is more over there to explore — though he’ll be keeping his curiosity to himself.

GH Spoilers Claim Leo’s Needs Somehow Outweigh His Own

Leo seemed very accepting of Eddie’s direct admission that he was not his dad. Leo may not understand what happened or where his dad is, but he wasn’t upset and didn’t attempt to convince Eddie that he was Ned, which is something that can’t be said for Olivia. While Eddie has been enjoying the connections Sonny has put within reach, and he’s comfortable at Sonnys and getting to know Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) better, he won’t be able to distract himself from the pull he feels in Leo’s direction now that he’s met him and had a chance to speak with him.

General Hospital Spoilers — Olivia Could Reconsider Her Approach

Fans are hoping Olivia and Ned might find their way back to one another in due time, but that doesn’t mean Olivia and Eddie can’t fall for each other in the meantime, does it? In a strange twist, it could be Leo who has Eddie reconsidering his decision to stay at Sonny’s. Maybe the Q stables are a better fit for him while he gets himself together. If so, his budding interest in Leo could turn toward an interest in Olivia, too — if she can manage to let go of Ned and see Eddie for who he is.
