Should she be given a second chance? General Hospital comings and goings say that fans have clearly not been pleased with all of the Molly Lansing-Davis recasts and believe that the character’s original actress, Haley Pullos, should come back on the show. Here’s what you need to know.
As many fans are aware of by now, the daytime television star has been charged with one felony count of DUI that caused injury and one felony count for having a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher. The person who was hit in the other car, Courtney Wilder, has filed a lawsuit against the actress. It was reported back in May that Haley was driving on the wrong side on a freeway in Pasadena back on April 29th. When she swerved her car, she flew over the dividing barrier and into oncoming traffic. She is currently in rehab.
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about Molly and why Haley should come back on the show. Some have commented on social media with, “What happened to giving help to employees when they need it? Nobody is perfect and this young girl needs help, and a second chance, in my opinion. Bring back Haley once she is done with rehab,” along with, “Not a good recast, what happened to the actress that was playing her temporarily, I think she would’ve been better. She looked more like Haley. Speechless at this poor casting.”
Another critic wrote, “Nothing against Brooke, but she’s only 4 yrs younger than Kelly (Sam)! This casting leaves a lot to be desired. Wow!!! Everyone makes mistakes. Clearly Haley Pullos was the only actress who can play Molly. Just have this actress be a temp and bring Haley back when she’s ready to work again.”
With that said, General Hospital fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
