While there’s no doubt that divorce is never easy, a lot of fans believe that Liam Spencer is to blame for his separation from Hope Logan. That’s because he’s treated her like dirt for too long. Yet, he seems to be the one who is falling apart over all of this. Here’s what you need to know.
While it’s been long established that Liam is the ultimate waffler, he seems to be the ultimate cry baby as well. And no one is giving him any sympathy for it, either. Liam might be crying, but fans think this divorce is the best thing that has ever happened for Hope Logan.
It goes without saying that a lot of The Bold and the Beautiful fans have had a lot to say about this storyline. Some have commented on Twitter with, “I know I’m ready for them to be apart and Liam deserves all this. But it’s sad. Ending a chapter in life is never easy, they played this very well!” along with, “I’ve been so excited for this divorce but seeing this scene was so sad. I could feel how hard it was for them to end another marriage. It was well done.”
Another fan wrote, “Yes, it was sad, but really can’t feel sorry for Liam, because clearly, he was yoking Hope with the burden of doing all of the emotional labor necessary to keep them together. And yet, he does everything to add to that load.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Pro Tip: Don’t tell your wife you want a divorce, move out, come over and be surprised when she serves papers on you.”
