Clearly, General Hospital fans have every reason to feel upset these days. Either there must be a shortage of talented brunette actresses in their mid-twenties or the casting department of the hit ABC soap might have something else in mind.

Clearly, many fans have been unhappy with the direction in which the character of Molly Lansing-Davis has been going. Actress Halley Pullos was forced to leave the role after she was arrested for DUI back in May. Holiday Mia Kriegel quickly took over the role but has since been replaced by Brooke Anne Smith. And let’s just say that fans have not been impressed with both actresses, as they just don’t fit Molly’s persona, looks, or even age.

Of course, General Hospital fans sure had a lot to say about the possibility of seeing Victoria Konefal join the cast of Port Charles as the new Molly. The actress is best known for her role as Ciara Brady on Days of Our Lives. Many of them shared comments on Twitter such as, “Victoria Konefal as Molly? VK is talented and fits the #DavisGirls aesthetic….however…She has very va-va-voom energy, for lack of a much better description. Think she could pull off unassuming for Molly?” along with, “Not for nothing,  but looking at HP insta, she prob beats VK with that va va voom energy, lol. Both sexy gorgeous girls.”

Another fan wrote, “I think both girls have Va Va Voom. And they’re both capable of not playing Va Va Voom. I don’t think Ciara was Va Va Voom, lol. But at this point anyone else would be better than what the casting department has been choosing for Molly. It’s like they are destroying the character.”

General Hospital Comings And Goings: What’s Next For Molly?

So far Victoria herself has not made any comments on whether or not she would return to her daytime television roots.
