It looks like Meghan Markle might have gotten herself played here. There’s new speculation that King Charles might have tricked the Duchess of Sussex into bringing her two children, Archie and Lilibet, to London in the event that she and Prince Harry get a divorce. Apparently, Meghan Markle pushed to have her children Archie and Lilibet given official royal titles. It was revealed not too long ago that the former Hollywood actress wanted her kids to have titles because it was part of her birth right. That’s perhaps one of the reasons why Harry and Meghan’s daughter is called Princess Lilibet on her birth certificate.
But what Meghan probably doesn’t realize is that with those royal titles come a lot of royal responsibility. Should Prince Harry and Meghan pull the plug on their marriage, then there’s a very good chance that King Charles might have Archie and Lilibet brought back to London with their father. After all, both children are in line to the throne. It’s also been noted in the past that all of the royal family’s children and grandchildren belong to the King of England, just like they belonged to Queen Elizabeth before her death. Meghan might be their mother but at the end of the day, the kids belong to the monarchy.
Now, whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will get a divorce remains to be seen but for now there’s a lot of speculation that all is not well in paradise. Prince Harry is expected to spend the next several weeks in Africa to film his new documentary on Africa while Meghan will stay behind with their children in California. So far both Harry and Meghan have not made any public comments about the matter. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more royal drama to come.
