Are we seeing double here? The Young and the Restless fans are seeing huge similarities in co-stars Mark Grossman (Adam Newman) and his on-screen father, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman). It seems as though the casting directors of the hit CBS soap really knew what they were doing when they brought on Mark to play the prodigal Newman son. That’s because he looks like the spitting image of his fictional father! Here’s what you need to know.

One Y&R fan shared a side-by-side photo of Mark with an older photo of Eric Braeden on Twitter and captioned it with, “They could not have picked a better actor to play The Great Victor Newman’s son.”

Needless to say, the Twitterverse certainly agrees. Many commented on the photo with, “Those cheekbones!  Mark Grossman is so good looking to me! He’s the best of all of the Adam’s. I think about that all the time. Adam is the most resembled to his father. And so friggen handsome!” along with, “When I posted this people called me crazy and now most of what I see on this post is how much Mark/Adam looks like a young Eric/Victor agreements. I knew I should’ve taken to Twitter first.”

Another fan wrote, “Wow! I just wish he treated Adam better. It makes me feel terrible. No wonder he feels like he’s not a  Newman. I would lash out too. The writers never given Adam the rise to power story they gave Victor. How great would it be watching Adam put Victor out to pasture by winning?  One can only wish because this will never happen.”
