The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Los Angeles, it’s that nothing stays calm for too long. In fact, the drama seems to be just as big as the fashion. While both Liam Spencer and Hope Logan are trying to separate in the most civil manner possible, it might not happen that easily. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, with their marriage at a breaking point, Hope and Liam will meet this week to hopefully go over the divorce process. Scott Clifton, who plays Liam Spencer on the hit CBS soap, previews, “Liam has obviously cheated, and Liam has been cheated on. But Liam is kind of going through all these moments that he’s had with Hope and he knows that Hope is capable of looking him in the eye and saying, ‘I have zero feelings for Thomas,’ and that can be false. So now he can’t trust her; he can’t trust Hope’s words.”
And while Hope accepts the fact that it was her behavior that ultimately ended their marriage, she also believes that Liam’s own feelings for his ex-wife Steffy Forrester had something to do with it, too.
Scott continued, “I think what Hope is doing here is trying to sort of retroactively justify her indiscretion with Thomas and Liam’s not buying that. Liam has, in fact, objectively been platonic with Steffy while he’s been married to Hope this time around. He has not been pining after Steffy. Of course, when he saw Hope’s betrayal, that switch flipped immediately and then he started pining for Steffy. And Hope would be absolutely right to worry that Liam, because of that indiscretion, will now run to Steffy because that is what Liam does; if Liam feels hurt, he will run to Steffy. But, I don’t think Hope is justified here in saying that she kissed Thomas because Steffy was such a threat to her marriage with Liam.”
