Things are just going from bad to worse for them lately. Royal Family News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are absolutely gutted that they have been snubbed by the Emmys this year! Apparently, they were expecting an Emmy nod for their Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan. Here’s what you need to know.

Were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex really hoping to get an Emmy for the way they threw the entire royal family under the bus in their salacious docuseries? Depending on who you ask, the answer might be yes.

Royal expert and author Ingrid Seward, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, says that Harry and Meghan didn’t expect to get snubbed by the Emmys the way that they did. After all, their docuseries was one of the most highly-rated programs for Netflix in 2022.

Ingrid says that Harry and Meghan are both “irritated” and devastated” and added, “But of course [they] will not show it. Meghan and Harry will concentrate in this and make it a positive, however irritated they might be not to be in the Emmy nominations.”

Ingrid went on to suggest that one of the reasons why they got snubbed was because they made the docuseries all about them and their petty problems with the royal family. For most of the series they talked about all the reasons why they left the royal family to begin with. She added that the Sussexes “talked about the royal family as if they were the enemy, while they themselves are trying to save the world.”

You certainly can’t argue with her about that, right? So far the Sussxes haven’t made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Either way, there’s a very good chance that they are plotting their next move as it is. Harry and Meghan is still available to watch on the online streamer.
