Dreams can come true, and especially in the daytime television world. There’s a lot of speculation that All My Children alum Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) might be headed to General Hospital. Here’s what you need to know.
As many fans are probably aware by now, Susan’s former All My Children co-star Walt Willey has joined the cast in Port Charles for an upcoming storyline. This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if Susan might follow in his footsteps and make a brief appearance on General Hospital, too. That would certainly be epic to see!
And while Susan Lucci herself hasn’t made any comments about the matter, her fans have been flooding her social media page and practically begging her to join the soap! Many believe that the timing right now is perfect seeing how Walt will be in Port Charles for a brief storyline arc. Some comments have included, “I see some characters from General Hospital are paying a visit to Pine Valley this week. Wouldn’t it be amazing to see Erica Kane create some drama in Port Charles??” along with, “I hear she is may be the ex-wife of Mr. Gray. Played by the one and only Michael E Knight. I would love to see a quick divorce and for her and Jack to be back together.”
Another fan wrote, “I know you can’t say one way or the other, but rumor has it and storyline is hinting that maybe Erica Kane is coming to General Hospital?!!!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed!!!! Much love to you, Susan.”
If there’s anything that we’ve learned about the soap world, it’s that you can never say never, right? Here’s hoping that Susan Lucci might be able to make all of our dreams come true, even if it’s just for a brief moment. Fingers crossed that the writers make it happen!
