Days of Our Lives News: Things Have Just Gotten Worse For Tyler Christopher

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for Tyler Christopher, it just did. The former Days of Our Lives and General Hospital actor says that his sister had mishandled his funds when she took over his finances in his guardianship. The actor, who was arrested in May for public intoxication, says that Susan Asmo Baker filed a petition to place him under guardianship in 2019. But when she did, she took about $40,000 of his money for her own use. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to new reports, Tyler says that he can’t believe that a close family member would do him as dirty as his sister did when she took his money to pay off her credit card debt, move her family from North Carolina to Ohio and for some other expenses as well. He told Bloomberg Law in an interview, “I never thought in a million years that I would be taken advantage of by a family member. I was recovering from a brain injury so the choice for guardianship was made for me without my knowledge.”

Last year Tyler had his attorney file a motion seeking a forensic accountant to examine his sister’s finances. If all of his claims turn out to be true, then she will have to repay the money that she misused. But if Tyler’s claims prove to be false, then he will be required to reimburse his sister for her attorney and accounting costs.

If that weren’t enough, Tyler also said that while his sister stepped in to supposedly help him during a very rough time in his life, the experience was anything but positive. He felt used during one of the most vulnerable moments of his life. He said, “Being homeless was a far better circumstance than being in the guardianship.”
