The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Here’s What Sean Kanan Really Thinks About His Character

Everyone might know him as the handsome and sexy but also somewhat problematic Deacon Sharpe, but according to his portrayer, The Bold and the Beautiful star Sean Kanan, he’s just someone who is looking for a whole lot of love and maybe even a whole lot of guidance, too. Here’s what he has to say.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Here’s What Sean Kanan Really Thinks About His Character

Clearly, Sean likes the guy. When asked about Deacon and his evolution of the years, Sean said, “I think, as happens with most angry young men, a combination of age, wisdom and life experience hopefully manages to wring some of that out of him, and that certainly happened with Deacon. Being loved by Hope has done enormous things for Deacon’s character. I think, for the most part, Deacon has been a fairly honorable guy.”

Sean also loved Deacon’s romance with Brooke just as much as fans have. These two just can’t get enough of each other! He said, “I think the original storyline with Deacon and Brooke was really electric. That was a pretty darn good storyline, when Deacon first came on the show with Bridget and he was at war with the Forresters. That was terrific.”

As many fans know, Deacon has made some wise investments lately, especially with his restaurant, Il Giardino. So far it’s been working out well for him. He recently turned to its previous owner and first chef, Daniele Uditi for advice. Recalling that scene, Sean said, “Deacon is very grateful that this is the guy who sold him the restaurant. And on a personal note, it was great to speak Italian with him, and for a guy who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, he’s got acting shops.”
