The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: A Lot Has Been Going On In Scott Clifton’s Personal Life

Say what you will about a character like Liam Spencer, but if there’s anything that we can all agree on, it’s that his portrayer, The Bold and the Beautiful star Scott Clifton, is one of the most talented actors on daytime television. And while Liam has been trying to figure out what went wrong in his marriage to Hope Logan, Scott’s personal life has been just as complicated lately. Here’s why.

The Bold and the Beautiful News: A Lot Has Been Going On In Scott Clifton’s Personal Life

Back in February, Scott shocked his fans when he announced that he and his wife Nikki were separating. The ex-couple share a son together named Ford. Back in February, Scott said in a statement, “My wife Nikki and I have decided to separate. Actually, we have been separated for some time now. She remains my best friend in the world, my partner in crime, and my closest confidant and the decision has only deepened the love and respect we have for one another. Our choice was born of a commitment to one another’s happiness and, above all, giving our son Ford the best life we can. We are grateful for everyone’s support and ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate whatever the future may hold.” 

And while divorces are never easy to navigate, Scott did hint that he and Nikki are still good friends. Speaking to Maurice Benard on his State of Mind podcast, he said, “We’re separated, but I think it’s the best decision we ever made. She’s still my best friend. When we separated, we got to buy another house. Our son just kind of gets to go back and forth between the two. They’re very, very close. Just a five-minute drive from each other.”

B&B News: What’s Next For Scott Clifton?

Luckily, Scott has a lot of people to lean on, like his co-star, Don Diamont, who he is very close to, along with actor Darin Brooks. Don recently joked on Instagram that Scott was a bad influence on him. He said, “Damn you Scott Clifton. Im going to get in A LOT of trouble from @cindyambuehl when I walk in with a LARGE bag from Levain Bakery!!! She’s almost as weak as I am! That’s why I have to work out so hard! I can always count on my TV son! I hope you are satisfied!”
