The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Happening With Matthew Atkinson?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that the show sure is lucky to have an actor as talented and handsome as Matthew Atkinson on the canvas. Plus, this fictional town of Los Angeles just wouldn’t be the same without Matthew as Thomas Forrester – he basically owns the character at this point. It wasn’t too long ago that Matthew opened up about some of his B&B co-stars. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Matthew was asked his thoughts about Scott Clifton. He said, “I knew coming in that he was a good guy. Scott is one where you can be antagonistic on screen and they yell, ‘Cut,’ and then it’s back to the real world. We joke around a lot. We’ve hung out together outside the studio, and we have a lot of common interests.”

Matthew also said he loves working with Annika Noelle, who plays Hope Logan. He said, “She is such an emotionally driven person. In my first couple of weeks, we had so many scenes and she was so easy to get along with. I think we felt a good connection from the get-go. It felt like we were both in the trenches and trying to make it work. I just remember us being there to help each other and vibe off each other and answer questions for each other.”

Matthew also said that because he’s so used to hearing people call him Thomas, he wouldn’t mind changing his first last name. He said back in February, “My first name isn’t actually Matthew. It’s John but I go by Matthew and have since I was a kid. If I had to change it, I actually like Thomas. That is a great name.”
