Let’s just say that being the King of England sure does come with a lot of on-the-job training. It’s safe to say that the past several months could have looked better for King Charles as he’s been struggling to find his footing as the new king. But it seems like he keeps dealing with one crisis after another. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Just recently, it was reported that King Charles has been feeling frustrated with Prince Harry’s behavior. He’s not comfortable with Harry’s lawsuit against the British tabloids. Charles also didn’t like it when Harry said, “Our country is judged globally by the state of our press and our government, both of which I believe are at rock bottom.”
One royal source even put it this way, “There is the deep irony of a member of the royal family talking about how the country is judged around the world, which is often by and through the royal family. It shows a deep misunderstanding by him.”
If that weren’t enough, reports have also said that King Charles was upset with Kate Middelton for stealing his thunder. Back in May, Charles was fuming just because the Princess of Wales got more attention from the press than he and Camilla did at the Chelsea Flower and Garden Show in London this past week. One tipster said, “With his love of horticulture, His Majesty’s appearance at Chelsea was an important engagement. It’s a shame that his visit with Her Majesty the Queen received less coverage than might have been expected. I hope they are not too disappointed.”
If that weren’t enough, Americans also criticized King Charles’ Coronation as one of the most boring on record. One person even said, “In the aftermath of the spectacle, it really disappoints. What has Charles been doing to deserve all this? It’s just not the same without Queen Elizabeth anymore. There’s really no point of the monarcy.”
