Days of Our Lives News: What’s Going On With Steve Burton Lately?

If there is anyone who loves to keep up with his fans, you better believe it’s Days of Our Lives star Steve Burton. In fact, a week usually doesn’t go by that Steve, who is best known for his role as Harris Michaels on the hit Peacock soap, isn’t posting on social media for his followers. Here’s what he’s been up to lately.

Days of Our Lives News: What’s Going On With Steve Burton Lately?

Back in June, Steve looked just a little bit slimmer than his usual self. He’s simply been working out a lot. He shared a photo with a caption that said, “Don’t focus on the results. Focus on making a little progress every single day. Becoming better every day and the outcome will be what you want it to be. The magic is in the process. We can’t control everything, but we can control what we do every day to build ourselves.”

In April, the daytime television hunk opened up about his online haters. Yes, he’s got them, too! He was talking about how he deals with online trolls and what he thinks about his character getting in the middle of Bo and Hope’s relationship. Thankfully, he takes it all in stride. He said, “This is my first time, and it’s Bo and Hope, too. Who has a fighting chance there? I never saw Bo and Hope [on-screen], but obviously they were gigantic. I’m not worried about the haters. I’ve had haters before.”

Days of Our Lives News: What’s Next For Steve?

Now, as far as how long he’ll be on the show, Steve said he’ll be around for as long as he can. There’s no doubt that Days of Our Lives fans are hoping for the same. He said, “I do love to act and how this came about was great. So I was like, ‘Yeah, sure. I’ll come back.’ When you’re in the business 36 years and people are still calling? I’m super grateful.”

That said, we are hoping that Steve will stay on the canvas for many long years to come, regardless if it’s in Salem or even back in Port Charles. A fan can only dream, right? Watch this space.
