The Young and the Restless star Mark Grossman has been having one of his best years on record. At least, that’s what it looks like for his career. He’s been knocking it out of the park as his on-screen character, Adam Newman. Off-screen though, there have been a lot of changes in his personal life. Here’s an update on what you need to know.
Back in March, Mark took his mother out for a special date night for The Young and the Restless’ 50th anniversary party. In his Instagram post, Mark shared a lot of behind the scenes photos and captioned them with, “#YR50 50th anniversary party with some of the fam.”
Earlier that month, there was speculation that he and his girlfriend at the time, Courtney Hope, were taking the next step in their relationship together. There were some eagle-eyed fans who have noticed that the stunning actress was sporting what looked like a diamond engagement ring while the two were having dinner together in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case at all. Sadly, there was no proposal that night.
But only a month later, the rumor mill suggested that Mark and Courtney were done. Courtney started erasing his photos while some fans couldn’t help but wonder if Mark might have blocked her on Instagram. Then again, Mark is a very private guy. When he was dating his co-star Sharon Case (Sharon Newman), they almost never shared anything about their private lives online. And from the looks of it, he certainly wants to keep it that way, too.
Yet, Courtney did have great things to say about working with Adam on the set of the show. She said, “It’s been great. I just think very highly of him as an actor and he’s a really wonderful person, too. I knew our scenes would be very powerful, and I love how vulnerable he is as an actor.
