General Hospital spoilers say that many fans are not feeling Carly and Drew’s relationship lately. As many fans know by now, Drew is slated to go to Pentonville for the next two years for a crime she committed. Here’s what you need to know.
It seems like many General Hospital fans are absolutely furious that Drew is doing time for Carly after his lawyer offered a plea deal to the SEC. To make matters worse, it was Carly who bought the shares yet Drew will have to pay the price for her behavior. But it’s not just the shadiness of it all that bothers General Hospital fans. It’s also the lack of chemistry between these two characters!
Of course, many General Hospital fans did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “I kind of like Crew but let’s face it who were their competition this week, daytime isn’t exactly overflowing with romantic couples right now and certainly not this past week unless we count Chloe and Xander on DOOL but that comes across like rebound,” along with, “She escaped responsibility again and he spent his last night of freedom for 3yrs with his girlfriend instead of his daughter. What are we celebrating?? I’m still stuck on why did they terminate Billy Miller, then bring back Drew and have him played by a different actor.”
Another critic wrote, “Most of soap Twitter hates this pairing. They would be better breaking up and moving on. Plus Carly is acting very entitled like she can’t be touched. I’m just tired of the writers treating her like she’s royalty in Port Charles when everyone knows she’s the one who should be in jail instead.”
