General Hospital spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is going to be furious when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) returns to him with news that they will be exhuming Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) body. This is the last thing that Cody needs — given that he’s not actually Leopold’s son. The journey to sue that WSB and seek compensation for the ice princess necklace being destroyed has brought forth great anxiety for Cody. It seems he will have to contend with himself over whether it’s the right thing to do. After all, going through with this case means he needs to pretend Mac Scorpio (John J. York) isn’t his father for the rest of his life. Can he really do that?

Scott is going to be thrilled to present the news to Cody that he has received the greenlight to exhume Taub’s body. It’s a slam dunk case in the shady attorney’s opinion. Why wouldn’t Cody want to proceed? Cody might try to paint his concerns as being respectful toward his biological father, but Scott isn’t going to buy it. If anyone knows what a snake looks like, it’s Scotty Baldwin. Why would Cody possibly care about letting his dear old dad rest in peace when he never knew the guy, and when everything he knows of him is bad?

Regardless of why Cody is behaving the way he is, his behavior is going to strike a chord with Scott, who isn’t going to want to walk away from this case. Still, it’ll be hard for him to make sense of Cody‘s behavior. When Cody insists that he is not going forward with the case unless they ax all plans for digging up Leopold’s remains, Scott will be baffled. How is he supposed to backpedal now when he knows the court will need proof that Cody is Leopold’s son?
