With all of the times that he’s left just to come back, we can’t keep up with him anymore! Of course, we are talking about Days of Our Lives star Lamon Archey, who is best known for his role as Eli Grant on the show. For all of the times that he’s left the show, he keeps coming back from more. And hey, it’s not like fans are complaining about it, right? Here’s what you need to know.
Just recently, Lamon said he received a phone call from the casting director, Marnie Saitta, asking if he could come back. It didn’t take very long for Lamon to come up with his answer. He said, “She contacted my manager and asked if I was free to come in and help out with the storyline they had going on. I didn’t have anything going on at the time.”
Lamon has also confessed that he absolutely loves working with his co-star, Sal Stowers. And who wouldn’t? She’s absolutely wonderful. He has said, “To be honest, I miss working with Sal. That’s one thing that I will say. Just the bond that we had built. We literally built “Elani” from the ground up, saw them grow and become this force, saw them become something that the fans fell in love with. That’s one of the things I miss the most. There’s not one particular thing about Eli that stands out to me. It’s more about the bigger picture.”
Off screen, Lamon has been keeping pretty busy. Back in February, the handsome actor took to his Instagram account to share the news that he and his future wife Kristen Terry are set to tie the knot together. He shared a photo of the all-important engagement ring and captioned it with, “Engaged #ComingSoon #RealLife.”
His Days of Our Lives co-stars like Robert Scott Wilson, Victoria Konefal, Greg Rikaart, Brandon Barash, and more offered congratulatory messages. They really truly are a supportive soap family.
