General Hospital Update: What’s Going On WIth Tyler Christopher Right Now?

General Hospital news says that a lot of people can’t help but wonder: does Tyler Christopher have a chance at a comeback? Is he going back to work? What does his future look like? The actor seemed to be making so much progress until his arrest back in May. Here’s what’s going on with the ex-soap opera star right now.

General Hospital Update: What’s Going On WIth Tyler Christopher Right Now?

Back in May, it was reported that Tyler Christoper was arrested for taking a nap on the floor of the airport terminal. Reports at the time said the actor was so drunk that he couldn’t care for himself, which is one of the reasons why the authorities decided to handcuff him and book him for public intoxication.

Before then, fans were hoping he’d come back to General Hospital. The same month of his arrest, Tyler several photos of when Tyler won his Daytime Emmy Award for his portrayer as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital back in 2016, the proud actor simply captioned it with, “Seven years ago today.” Needless to say, many of his social media fans and followers commented on his post with, “We want you BACK on GH. YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE Nikolas Cassadine. Great writing and great direction requires GREAT ACTORS and here you are!”

General Hospital Update: Is Tyler Ever Coming Back?

Fans have wanted him back for a very long time. Now that Marcus Coloma is no longer playing Nikolas Cassadine, a lot of fans said Tyler should come back. Seeing how there’s so much storyline left for Nikolas’ character, there are a lot of fans and critics alike who believe that Tyler should step in and finish the work that Marcus left undone.  One fan even went as far as to write on social media, “All I want for the new year is to bring back Tyler Christopher as Nikolas and the Esme story to be proved she lied about having sex with Nikolas or having a baby with him.”

Here’s hoping that Tyler does come back sooner rather than later. For now, it’s safe to say that he’s getting all the help and rest that he needs for his ultimate comeback.
