General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, July 7 tease family advice, doubtful thoughts and insistent opinions. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) talks about family advice, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) expresses doubtful thoughts, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has insistent opinions.

General Hospital Spoilers: Daddy Dinner Date

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has a dinner date with his daddy as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) admits he called him for dinner under false pretenses. He will reassure Dante about something while they’re having dinner, and perhaps give him some good news about family relations. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) called off his vendetta and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has made steps towards peace with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

They’ll have some catching up to do on both sides, since Dante and Sonny haven’t talked to each other for a while. But Dante will be relieved that he isn’t in the middle of a family feud for the first time in a long time!

GH Spoilers: Family Advice

At the Savoy, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) continue to talk after Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) left the table. Marshall had been talking to Curtis about his relationship with Portia earlier, and had asked if he was coming home that night. Curtis gave TJ some good advice about his relationship with Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) about their lack of communication. Now that he’s talking to TJ he remembers his conversation with Marshall. Curtis tells him he thinks it’s time that he takes his own advice.

General Hospital Spoilers: Doubtful Thoughts

Meanwhile, at GH Portia is talking to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and expresses some doubtful thoughts. Elizabeth has obviously been talking about her date with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that their pint size matchmaker Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) arranged. Elizabeth isn’t too sure that she wants to stay just friends but Finn told her the situation wouldn’t happen again, and she doesn’t want to move forward if it doesn’t last.

Portia sees through her and asks her if she’s sure it’s really Violet’s heart she’s worried about breaking. Like Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) said to Finn, Elizabeth may not want to try again and have it end in disaster, hurting Violet.

GH Spoilers: Insistent Opinions

Anna has some insistent opinions as she talks to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Parker) about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). She tells Jordan Valentin shouldn’t have involved himself in something, possibly worrying about him going to Chechnya. She’d actually wanted to go along herself to help Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) look for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) but Laura stopped her. On the other hand, it’s a good possibility Valentin told Jordan about the word “murderer” spray painted in red on her front door, not realizing she was now the deputy mayor.

General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ Bright Idea

Also at the Savoy, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Kristina talk about Kristina’s bright idea. Alexis likely tells her not to rush into anything and whatever she does, don’t jump the gun about suggesting it to Molly. For one thing this would be something that Molly and TJ need to hear together.

Kristina says she thinks she can pull it off, and it sounds like she’s calling Alexis “grandma!” It sounds like she might make an offer to both be a surrogate and an egg donor for Molly and TJ to have a baby.

GH Spoilers: Thinking Ahead?

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) seems nervous as she tells her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) she hopes she’s thought ahead. Pursuing her plan concerning “The Deceptor” could be more complicated than she thought. Brook Lynn is tiring of being a corporate spy and she may wish she could opt out. But Tracy likely has much more for her to do than get her confidential files. There’s no way Tracy is going to just let Brook Lynn quit and go back to managing music artists!
