General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 6 tease shady business, couple troubles and competitor worries. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pushes some shady business, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has couple troubles and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has competitor worries.
Tracy continues to push her shady sounding business deal on Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as she says she’s prepared to offer him a challenge. She’d also offered a deal to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and a $40,000 check that Diane had to think about, but she went over to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house. Tracy was talking to Martin after Diane left, and he didn’t seem impressed, other than to tell her she owed him money.
Armed with confidential information on “The Deceptor” she specifically wanted to know if he and Lucy were still involved, and he told her yes. He also told Tracy they trust each other implicitly-but trusting Tracy, not so much!
Meanwhile, at the Savoy, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are at the bar and Marshall asks Curtis for an update. He wants to know if he will see Curtis at home that night, Curtis obviously not having returned. After the truth came out, thanks to Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) blabbermouth brother about him kissing Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) he and Portia have been on the outs. Jordan herself wasn’t any too pleased with Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) either, turning him down flat when he wanted a second date. It’s doubtful Portia and Curtis can work any of their problems out as long as her brother’s in town.
Also at the Savoy are TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) who are having couple troubles. Molly has been distant ever since finding out she can’t make viable eggs to even have a child of TJ’s via surrogacy. TJ is frustrated and tells her he cannot go on with this.
Molly may be avoiding TJ and home and pouring herself into her work. But it sounds like she will have a talk with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and open up to her.
Elsewhere, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are talking to someone, wanting to know if there’s any news. This could either be Molly, having possibly left the Savoy, or Kristina who Molly will open up to. TJ will receive some encouragement from Curtis and Marshall, possibly after Molly leaves.
After their family meeting, Molly will be left with some things to ponder. It sounds like the brainstorming the Davis girls and their mom do might show some promise.
Back at GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) says his goodbyes to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at least as any romantic reunion is concerned. After their pint sized matchmaker’s attempts, Finn tells Elizabeth there’ll be no more romantic evenings for them in the future. Elizabeth looks a little stunned but not surprised.
There has apparently been too much turbulent water under the bridge in the time Finn and Liz tried dating. It might be a little difficult for the two to have to work together, which happens frequently.
Meanwhile, back at the offices of Deception, Lucy freaks out, asking Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) what would happen if their competitors got this information? She’s talking about the copy of the confidential file about “The Deceptor” that Brook Lynn will soon confess she downloaded. She’ll cover by saying she wanted to learn more about the product in order to do her job better and didn’t know the file was confidential. She will still likely have difficulty getting Lucy to calm down!
It looks like after she gets done in the Deception office with Lucy and Maxie, Brook Lynn heads over to the area off the Metro Court pool and delivers a warning. Tracy, still there after talking to Martin will hear that they have a problem. That problem would be that Lucy could be onto her as Tracy’s corporate spy.
Tracy will probably say there’s nothing to worry about. She’s got all the information she needs.
