Say what you will about a person like Princess Eugenie, but there’s no doubt in everyone’s minds that she’s always been a royal who has managed to keep her name out of the negative headlines. That, and she’s also been a very loyal cousin to Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. However, 2023 has proven not to be a very good year for her so far. Here’s why.
Back in April, it was reported that Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice wouldn’t have a place on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during King Charles’ Coronation along with the rest of the royal family. Many fans were quick to speculate that they’ve been demoted alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
To make matters worse, that same month Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were spotted bonding with British television personality Piers Morgan. Apparently, the York sisters were spotted at The Princess Royal pub in Notting Hill with a number of other celebrities. This gave the Sussex squad a reason to turn on Eugenie. They just couldn’t understand why she would even consider being in the same pub as Piers Morgan, let alone a few yard away from him. Clearly, Eugenie can’t control the people that are going to show up at the public events that she goes to, but many members of the Sussex squad beleive that she could have done more to make Piers feel unwelcomed there. Clearly, that didn’t happen at all.
It’s also been reported that Eugenie might be house hunting in Los Angeles. She and her husband Jack Brooksbank have already moved from London to Portugal to get away from all of the drama surrounding her father, Prince Andrew. They’ve also been looking to distance themselves from the toxic environment behind the scenes at Buckingham Palace.
While Eugenie herself has not made any comments about her future plans, she sure has been spending more time in California. Tell us, what do you think of this story?
