General Hospital spoilers suggest Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is going to make a rather surprising call next week when she reaches out to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) for help. These two haven’t exactly crossed paths in the past, and it’s going to dawn on Diane that a request from the Quartermaine family — apart from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) — is quite odd. After all, Tracy loathes Diane’s number one client, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Hopefully this doesn’t have anything to do with the mobster, but if it does, we can trust Diane will keep her lips sealed. With a few potential legal battles on her hands, it makes sense that Tracy would reach out to the best attorney in town to talk with them. Which of these legal snafus will have Tracy calling Diane with urgency?
Common sense tells us that Tracy might need Diane’s help mitigating the fallout that could stem from Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) believing he is Eddie, Maine. Tracy is just beside herself with worry that she may never see her son look through his own eyes again. Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) said as much when he told the family it’s possible that he could be in this state for a very long time – implying that it could be forever. Leave it to Tracy to think of the legal side effects that can stem from Eddie Maine voting on the board for ELQ. She might need an attorney to secure a way for her to make sure Ned’s voting rights are temporarily suspended — or worse.
Ever since Tracy first came back to Port Charles, we’ve had a sneaking suspicion that it was all about ELQ. Pretending she wants nothing to do with the family business was just her convenient way of covering her behind. Tracy has been hedging her bets and strong-arming anyone she can into working for her. Why? All of it seems to trace back to the family business. Maybe Tracy believes ELQ is in trouble and needs to be back in the hands of family alone. That would mean removing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) from the equation for sure.
Of course, Tracy might also want to meet with Diane to discuss Drew Cain‘s (Cameron Mathison) case. In a few days, he is headed to Pentonville for the next three years. Tracy and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) tried to convince Drew to change his plea and throw Carly Spencer (Laura Wright( under the bus, but he’s unwilling to do that. If Tracy thinks Diane is going to discuss Carly’s case with her, she’s got another thing coming. However, she could have a trick up her sleeve, given that she is the one who originally reported Carly to the SEC. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see this play out.
