General Hospital Spoilers: Cody’s Got A Problem With Being Investigated?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may indeed have a problem with being investigated! Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) catches up to him at the Metro Court pool trying to get some paperwork signed for the WSB lawsuit.

General Hospital Spoilers: Seeking Monetary Damages For Destruction

Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson) had been the last person known to have possessed the Ice Princess Necklace but it eventually was obtained by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). The necklace was destroyed by the WSB’s drone strike on the Haunted Star, that also caused Victor’s death. It had passed from Dominique’s abusive ex-husband Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) apparently being stolen by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) eventually winding up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Britt had rather unwillingly inherited it from Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and she turned it into the authorities after Cody tried to get her to give it to him.  Dominique, however was Scott’s late wife, Cody’s mother, and Serena Baldwin’s (Carly Schroeder) mother-Scott decided to sue the WSB for monetary damages.

GH Spoilers: No Lawsuit Complete Until The Paperwork Is Done

Scott had discussed this with Cody several weeks ago and Cody had decided to split any proceeds between him and Serena. But now Scott has paperwork for Cody to sign, as he is at the Metro Court pool sunning himself and seemingly half-asleep. He tells him if he would just sign the affidavit he has, Scott could finally file it at the courthouse and they could get down to business with the WSB. Cody sleepily says “right, may have business” and Scott tries to get his attention; he says “yes, and as you know, the WSB doesn’t like their cage rattled. Scott continues, saying that the WSB is probably going to play hardball-that gets Cody’s attention, and he says “Well-hardball-are you saying that they’re going to be investigating me?”

General Hospital Spoilers: Is That Going To Be A Problem?

Scott sighs, realizing he’s going to have to spell everything out in minute detail to Cody, saying, “Well, you know what the “S” in “WSB” means-security!” Cody says “Ok, yeah, no, I didn’t know that” and Scott continues, explaining that like most agencies, the WSB thrives on intel, that’s their bread and butter. He asks him if that’s going to be a  problem, and Cody doesn’t respond but he looks very worried.

Cody knows that the WSB might find out some things about him he’d rather they didn’t-like Taub not having been his birth father, for instance, meaning he can’t inherit. Worse yet, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) could find out that he lied about the paternity test showing Mac’s his birth father.
